Robert Quinn is the founding Director of the Scholars at Risk Network, and the former founding Executive Director of the Institute of International Education's Scholar Rescue Fund.  Mr. Quinn is an adjunct professor of law at Fordham Law School teaching courses in international human rights and US legal systems. Mr. Quinn received his A.B. cum laude from Princeton in 1988, and his J.D. cum laude from Fordham in 1994. [x]

Sinead O'Gorman is the Deputy Director of Scholars at Risk, heading up SAR's international training and partnerships.  Prior to joining SAR, Ms. O'Gorman served as Program Officer at the Institute of International Education (IIE) and held program and research positions at the Council for Assisting Refugee Academics (CARA) in London and at the Irish Council for International Students (ICOS) in Dublin.  She holds an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics, an MA in French from the Université de Montréal and a BA in English and French from Trinity College Dublin.

Clare Robinson

Clare Robinson is the Program Officer of Scholars at Risk. Ms. Robinson oversees SAR's domestic network development and organizes SAR activities, placements and outreach within the US. She holds an MA in Politics/International Relations from NYU, where her work focused on human rights, nationalism and ethnic conflict in South East Asia. Prior to moving to New York, Ms. Robinson was Public Information Officer in the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court. Ms. Robinson is a founding editor of the NYU Department of Politics journal, Journal of Political Inquiry, and is an active alumna of UCLA.

Marisa Escribano

Marisa Escribano received her PhD in Social Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University in 1987.  She has volunteered with Scholars at Risk since 2005 and has been instrumental in coordinating fundraising activities, including creation of Friends of Scholars at Risk.  She is currently coordinating SAR's efforts on behalf of missing and imprisoned scholars.
