Member Directory

Membership is open to accredited higher education institutions in any country committed to the principle that scholars should be free to work without fear or intimidation. Academic associations and organizations sharing common interest in academic freedom are invited to join as affiliates. Individuals are invited to join as Friends of Scholars at Risk.

Universities
Affiliates of SAR

Academic associations and other organizations sharing common interest in academic freedom and related values are invited to join the Network as affiliates. (Academic associations and other organizations in countries in which a SAR partner network operates are invited to join as affiliates of the partner network, and are listed along with its members.)


Partner Networks

In some regions or countries, Scholars at Risk works through partner networks, locally managed networks of universities and colleges similarly pledged to promote academic freedom and related values. Universities and colleges in those places are invited to participate in SAR activities by becoming members of the regional or national partner network.
